Hi and welcome to All God’s Women. I’m Sharon Wilharm, your host, and it’s day 8 of National Podcast Post Month.

Today we continue in 2 Samuel 17. Yesterday we left off when David’s two messengers were caught in En-rogel but escaped to Bahurim, a village east of Jerusalem on the route to Jordan. They came to a man’s house that had a well in his courtyard, so they climbed in the well.

The woman of the house saw what was going on and figured out who they were. Without anyone observing what she was doing, she covered the opening with a cloth then threw dried grain atop the cloth.

You may be at a season of your life where most of your time is spent at home. You may feel there’s nothing you can do while tucked away at home. But God has you right where you need to be. All you have to do is listen to His promptings and obey what He tells you to do. It may take courage, but He will guide you through it.
