Gabe Hughes: Controversies in the Southern Baptist Convention

Gabe Hughes is Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church in Lindale, Texas. He’s also an author, and creator of WWUTT, or When We Understand the Text, a ministry in which he creates Youtube videos, writes books, and has a daily podcast. For this episode, Gabe joins us to discuss a major controversy within the Southern Baptist Convention over the ordination of women as pastors, and how it threatens to divide the SBC. We also talk about why this issue is important, and why those of us who are not Southern Baptists should be paying attention and praying for our Southern Baptist brethren.
