On today’s episode I continue walking through the book Lex Rex, by Samuel Rutherford. Lex Rex simply means that the law is king. It is a book that very simply and logically looks at the nature and purpose of government. It also addresses issues such as civil disobedience and resistance, ideas that greatly influenced the American War for Independence. On this episode I look at chapters eight and nine regarding whether or not rulers can be given absolute power and if rulers are more important than those they rule.
