Can Demons Repent?
Will God allow fallen angels and Satan to repent? Now, this particular one is a more difficult type of challenge to answer for one simple reason. We do not have a lot of Scripture that goes into detail about angels, both holy and unholy. So what do we know? We do know there was a group of angels that were created. We do not even know which day they were created completely, but we know they must have been early enough because Scripture says that the angels saw creation. We know that they were there early in creation. At some point, we do not know when, but we clearly know it was before the fall of man, Satan and many angels fell, those angels we know as demons. The only Scripture verse we do know is in Matthew 25:41. He says, in verse 41, “then he will say to those on his left, depart from me, you cursed into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels”. So It seems that the devil for sure and his angels were prepared beforehand for hell. So that would give the only indication to say the answer to this is no they cannot repent.
