David Livingstone was a doctor who famously became the first European to visit and discover many locations inside of Africa. He also spread and taught the Gospel while fighting against the slave trade everywhere he went.
The sermon is actually technically a lecture. But in it he gives the details of his actions in Africa. He explains the difficulties of missionary work in places where the Gospel has never been, the issues of the slave trade, the places he’s visited, and God’s sovereign hand across the events there.
