When you think about Christmas and the birth of Jesus, do you ever consider Mary? Who was she? How did she react to the news that she would bear the Christ child? What was it like to be the mother of a perfect child? What pressures did she endure and how did she handle being pregnant without being married or even fully united with her betrothed, Joseph? What kind of support did she have from her family and friends? Was she scared?
Join Yvette Hampton and Aby Rinella as they talk about this young girl who literally changed the world by simply saying “Yes” to the Lord. What is He calling YOU to do? How can you be a world changer? And, what lessons can we as homeschool moms learn from Mary?
Join us tomorrow, Christmas Eve, as Yvette and Aby share their favorite Christmas traditions.

Yvette Hampton is a homeschool mom through and through, but it wasn’t supposed to be this way. Like so many other homeschoolers, Yvette and her husband, Garritt, said they would NEVER homeschool their kids, but God had other plans. As a mom who is concerned for future generations and for the future of our country, Yvette has a deep passion to see a culture shift by encouraging people through the truth of God’s Word. Her greatest joy in life is being a wife and mom!
Aby Rinella is a former public school teacher turned passionate homeschool mom. Aby resides in the mountains of the west with her college sweetheart and 3 awesome kids where they enjoy all things outdoors. Aby is a writer and speaker seeking to encourage and inspire women to live the life they were designed to live, to train up their children in God’s Word, and to stand on truth in a culture that has lost its foundation.

Every December, Christians are given new reasons to not take Christmas seriously. Joshua Gibbs’ new book titled, The 25th: New and Selected Christmas Essays, argues that Christians have every reason to robustly celebrate Christmas with the confidence that they are participating in one of the oldest, deepest, and greatest mysteries of God.
