Asking Jesus – Week Six of Lent
Synopsis: We have approached the last week of Lent. We have approached Good Friday. Let us remember that this Friday is a reminder that our Savior laid down His live so that our life will be saved. As we approach Easter, allow this to be a sober reminder that we are alive in Christ. He is alive. He has risen indeed. We can now go into the presence of the Father and he will hear us. Tune into these short discussions based on a Lent reading guide called “Asking Jesus” by Rev. Dr. Gerrit Dawson.
Meet the Guest: The Rev. Dr. Gerrit Dawson became the senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church in 2004. He is married to Rhonda, and they have four children. Dawson’s vision for the church centers on Jeremiah 29: 7: “Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you.”
