Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ – Romans 5:1

What an awesome blessing it is to rest in the Lord’s work of salvation for us, to rest from the guilt of sin, to surrender the false idea that we can earn any sort of righteousness for ourselves in God’s eyes, to rest in the amazing and liberating truth of Christ’s imputed righteousness to believers, to rest vibrantly and actively in faithful obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ.
