Part II: We continue walking through the book Lex Rex, by Samuel Rutherford. In chapter twenty, we consider whether people may defend themselves against oppression. In chapter twenty-one, we look at whether the people can wage war without the ruler. Ultimately, the question is one of the right to self-defense and who possesses that right.
