- Techniques
- Noise reduction
- Compression
- Truncate silence
- How much editing is needed
- Every um
- Long pauses
- Saving your file
- Audio formats
- MP3
- M4A / AAC
- WMA
- MP3 Bit rates
- Do not use a variable bit rate
- Might not play on all platform
- Best is a fixed rate such as 64Kbps, 96Kbps or 128Kbps
- 64Kbps is AM radio quality; good for talk only
- 96Kbps is FM radio quality; good for talk and some music like bumper music
- 128Kbps is CD quality; good for recording music
- 192Kbps is high quality and probably not necessary for a podcast
- Do not use a variable bit rate
- Use either 22.05kHz or 44.1kHz (CD quality)
- Mono, stereo or joint stereo
- Audio formats
