Are You Just Watching?^TM is about critical thinking for Christians as they watch popular media such as movies and TV shows. We are more than a Christian reviews site since PluggedIn Online already does such a wonderful job. We take a critical look at philosophies and ideas behind and promoted by entertainment media, and then discuss these based on a biblical worldview.

The point of Are You Just Watching? was never to show off our expertise as a movie reviewers nor our skill as Christian apologists. It has always been about inspiring other Christians to accept the burden of being ever vigilant in a world of subtle, secular indoctrination. It’s not only a title, it’s a question and a challenge that we present with every episode: “Are you just watching?” Are you absorbing mindlessly the messages and themes the secular world wants you to embrace? Are you turning off your intellect for the sake of entertainment, offending the Spirit within you, and releasing your thoughts in a careless and worldly manner?

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
